The DAP INC 18806 is a gray, elastomeric, fire-rated silicone sealant formulated for sealing non-combustible service penetrations and construction joints in fire-rated assemblies. Packaged in a standard 10.1 oz cartridge, it delivers high-performance firestopping in both horizontal and vertical fire separations. The sealant is capable of accommodating up to 25% movement in fire-rated joints, making it suitable for applications where minor structural movement is expected. It meets ASTM E-814 and UL 1479 as well as UL 2079 classifications. Licensed contractors and fire-stop installers use this product to maintain the integrity of rated wall and floor assemblies during new construction and retrofit work.
