The DAP 18001 Kwik Seal is an acrylic latex adhesive caulk formulated for kitchen and bath applications. It bonds like an adhesive while sealing like a caulk, making it well suited for gaps around tubs, tile, sinks, and countertops in interior wet areas. The product ships in a 5.5 oz tube and is water-based, which keeps odor low during application and allows tool and surface cleanup with water alone. Once fully cured, the caulk is 100 percent waterproof and resistant to mold and mildew growth. Plumbers, tile setters, and experienced DIYers commonly apply this product during fixture installs and bathroom remodels.
DAP 18001 is intended for interior use in kitchens and bathrooms. It is appropriate for sealing joints between tile and fixtures, around sink basins, along tub surrounds, and at countertop-to-wall transitions.
