The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS GSZ-5050-9 is an undermount kitchen sink built for professional installation in modern residential and light commercial kitchens. Part of the Zylo Stainless Steel Kitchen and Bar Sink Series, it features a zero-radius corner design with a 50/50 equal bowl configuration and rear drain positioning. Constructed from 18-gauge 304 stainless steel with a brushed nickel finish, this sink delivers both structural durability and a clean contemporary aesthetic. The straight sidewall geometry and sharp edges align with minimalist design trends increasingly specified in kitchen renovation and new construction projects.
This sink is designed for undermount installation in base cabinets larger than 33 inches wide. The rear drain position maximizes usable bowl depth and simplifies drain line routing in standard residential rough-in configurations. The 95-degree sidewall slope reduces food and debris accumulation at the bowl perimeter. It is appropriate for kitchen applications requiring a zero-radius, contemporary-style sink with a split bowl layout. A compatible bottom grid, part number GSMZ-BG5050, is available separately for added basin protection.
Designed for undermount installation in kitchen base cabinets greater than 33 inches wide. Compatible bottom grid: GSMZ-BG5050 (sold separately). Part of the Zylo collection by DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS.
Undermount sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or experienced kitchen installer. The sink must be secured to the underside of the countertop using manufacturer-approved adhesive and mounting hardware rated for the countertop substrate material. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain assembly before removing any existing sink. Verify that the rough-in drain location aligns with the rear drain position of this sink prior to cutting the countertop opening.
