The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS GSR-20-TM5050-3ADA is a top-mount, equal-bowl kitchen sink designed for residential kitchen installations requiring ADA compliance. Constructed from 20-gauge 304 stainless steel with a brushed nickel finish, this sink features a 50/50 bowl split with a center drain position in each bowl. Each bowl measures 5.5 inches in depth, providing adequate capacity for standard kitchen tasks. The traditional style and standard-radius corners make it a straightforward fit for conventional kitchen layouts. Three pre-cut faucet holes are included, accommodating most standard widespread or center-set faucet configurations. Licensed plumbers and qualified contractors are the typical installers for this fixture type.
This sink is sized to fit cabinets larger than 33 inches, with a recommended cabinet size of 36 inches. The top-mount installation method simplifies rough-in work, making it compatible with laminate, tile, and solid-surface countertop materials without requiring undermount cutout finishing. Its ADA-compliant design supports accessible kitchen configurations in both residential remodels and new construction projects. The center drain placement and equal-bowl layout suit a wide range of plumbing rough-in configurations.
Designed for top-mount installation in kitchen countertops supported by cabinets larger than 33 inches, with a recommended fit for 36-inch cabinet openings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the sink perimeter before setting the sink into the countertop cutout, and secure mounting clips evenly from below. Verify ADA clearance requirements for knee space and drain trap configuration are met per local accessibility codes before finalizing the rough-in.
