The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS GSR-18-6040 is an 18-gauge 304 stainless steel undermount kitchen sink built for demanding daily kitchen use. It features a 60/40 offset double-bowl configuration with the larger bowl positioned on the left, offering flexible workspace for washing, prep, and staging. The standard radius corners and rear drain position suit traditional and transitional kitchen designs. At 18 gauge, the 304 stainless steel construction delivers solid resistance to denting, corrosion, and staining. The brushed nickel finish reduces surface scratching visibility and integrates cleanly with a wide range of kitchen hardware finishes. Licensed plumbers and kitchen remodelers handle the typical undermount installation.
The GSR-18-6040 is designed for undermount installation in kitchen cabinetry greater than 33 inches wide. The 60/40 bowl split gives users a dedicated large basin for pots and bulky cookware alongside a smaller secondary basin for rinsing and prep tasks. The large bowl on the left layout suits right-handed workflows common in residential kitchens. Compatible bottom grids are GSR-BG40 and GSR-BG60, sold separately, and are designed to protect the sink basin floor during use. This sink fits traditional-style kitchen builds where clean undermount lines and a timeless bowl configuration are specified.

Undermount sink installation requires silicone adhesive and mechanical clips to secure the sink to the underside of the countertop — work with the countertop fabricator to ensure the cutout matches the sink dimensions before installation. Shut off water supply lines before disconnecting or reconnecting drain plumbing. Plumbing connections should comply with applicable local codes and IPC standards. A licensed plumber should perform or inspect the final drain and supply connections.
