The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS GSE-QC4060LD-BK is a quartz composite undermount kitchen sink designed for residential kitchen installations requiring a 40/60 split bowl configuration. The larger bowl sits on the right side, making it well-suited for right-handed workflows at the sink. Finished in matte black, this sink pairs with contemporary cabinetry and coordinates with current fixture trends. Quartz composite construction resists scratches, heat, and staining better than standard stainless, making it a practical choice in high-use kitchens. The undermount installation creates a clean countertop edge that simplifies surface wiping and eliminates the rim buildup common with drop-in models.
This sink is intended for undermount installation in kitchen countertops supported by a cabinet 36 inches wide or greater. It is suited for residential kitchens where a two-basin layout supports simultaneous food prep and washing tasks. The rear drain position helps maximize usable basin depth and keeps drain hardware out of the primary work zones. Licensed plumbers or experienced finish carpenters typically handle undermount installations, as countertop cutout alignment and mounting bracket access require careful coordination before the countertop is set.
Designed for undermount installation in kitchen countertops over cabinets greater than 33 inches wide, with a recommended fit for 36-inch cabinet openings. Part of the Kavlen collection by DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS.
Undermount sink installation requires the countertop cutout to be completed before the countertop is adhered or set. A licensed plumber should make final drain and supply connections in accordance with local IPC requirements. Power down any in-sink disposal units and shut off supply valves before beginning work. Do not overtighten mounting clips against quartz composite, as composite material can crack under uneven clamping pressure.
