The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSZ-A6040 is a zero-radius apron-front undermount kitchen sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome-nickel alloy for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. It features a 60/40 double-bowl layout with the larger bowl positioned on the left for heavy-duty washing tasks and a smaller right bowl sized for rinsing and food prep. The satin brushed nickel finish is part of the Zoria collection and suits contemporary kitchen designs. Licensed plumbers and kitchen installers handle this fixture in both residential and light commercial applications.
This sink is designed for kitchen installations requiring a 36-inch or larger cabinet opening. The apron front and zero-radius corners maximize interior bowl space while maintaining a clean, flush aesthetic. The grooved bowl bottom channels water toward a rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain to reduce standing water. The Peacekeeper sound absorption system uses thermal undercoating and oversized dampening pads to reduce operational noise and limit condensation beneath the sink. The included accessory package contains bottom grids and a basket strainer, making it ready for installation without additional procurement.
Designed for undermount apron-front installation in cabinet openings greater than 33 inches, with an optimal fit in a 36-inch cabinet. Compatible accessory bottom grids and basket strainer are included as noted in the supplier accessory package.
This sink should be installed by a licensed plumber following local plumbing codes and manufacturer mounting instructions. Shut off water supply lines before beginning any sink removal or installation work. Apron-front undermount sinks require adequate cabinet and countertop support structure to bear the sink weight; verify cabinet integrity before mounting. Use appropriate silicone sealant and mounting hardware rated for undermount stainless steel sink applications.
