The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSZ-6040LDGBK is a zero-radius undermount kitchen sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome and nickel composition for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The 60/40 double-bowl configuration features a large left bowl and a smaller right bowl separated by a low divide, giving installers and end users more flexibility when working with oversized cookware. The Gunmetal Black finish is applied over the stainless substrate for a contemporary look. A channeled bottom directs water toward a rear-positioned drain, and the Peacekeeper thermal undercoating with oversized sound-dampening pads reduces operational noise and limits cabinet condensation.
This sink is intended for residential kitchen installations and is sized to fit 36-inch base cabinets, with an overall footprint of 32 inches long by 18 inches wide and a bowl depth of 10 inches. The undermount configuration suits granite, quartz, solid-surface, and similar countertop builds where a flush countertop edge is required. The low-divide design is particularly useful in kitchen renovations where large sheet pans or hotel pans need to pass between bowls. Installation is performed by plumbing contractors or experienced kitchen remodelers. The package includes DSMZ-BG6040LD bottom grids and a DSA-PBSSS basket strainer.
Designed for undermount installation in 36-inch or larger base cabinets. Part of the Zoria collection by Dakota Plumbing Products. Also available in Satin Brushed Nickel, Silver, Gold, and Copper finishes.
Undermount sink installation requires a licensed plumber or qualified installer working with solid countertop material capable of supporting the sink from below. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain before removing an existing sink. Follow local plumbing code requirements for drain sizing and trap configuration. Do not overtighten the mounting hardware against the countertop substrate, as this can crack stone or damage bonding adhesive.
