The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSZ-3218GBK is a single-bowl, zero-radius undermount kitchen sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome and nickel composition for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The Gunmetal Black finish gives it a contemporary appearance that coordinates with a wide range of kitchen designs. Overall dimensions are 32 inches by 18 inches by 10 inches deep, with a bowl measuring approximately 30 inches by 16 inches by 10 inches. The rear-positioned center drain and channeled bottom work together to direct water efficiently and reduce pooling. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers install this sink as part of kitchen remodels or new construction projects.
The DSZ-3218GBK is designed for residential kitchen and bar applications where a contemporary, space-efficient undermount sink is required. Its zero-radius corners maximize usable bowl volume compared to rounded-corner designs. The sink requires a base cabinet of 36 inches or larger. It includes extra-large sound-dampening pads and a thermal undercoating system, referred to as the Peacekeeper Sound Absorption System, which reduces operational noise and helps protect the underside of countertops and cabinetry from moisture and heat. The complete package ships with a custom-fit bottom grid and a basket strainer for immediate use after installation.
Designed as an undermount kitchen sink for base cabinets 36 inches wide or larger. Fits standard undermount countertop cutout configurations for single-bowl kitchen sink installations.
Undermount sink installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified installer with experience in countertop cutout and sink mounting procedures. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain plumbing before beginning removal of any prior sink. Follow the countertop substrate manufacturer's recommendations for adhesive and mechanical fastening methods. Verify local plumbing code requirements, which may reference IPC standards, before completing drain and supply connections.
