The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSZ-2718 is a single-bowl undermount kitchen sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome and nickel content for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Its zero-radius design features squared corners measuring 5/8 inches, maximizing usable basin space while delivering a clean, contemporary profile. The channeled base slopes water toward a rear-positioned 3.5-inch drain to minimize pooling. A thermal undercoating and oversized sound-dampening pads make up the Peacekeeper Sound Absorption System, reducing dishwashing noise and limiting cabinet condensation. This sink is finished in Satin Brushed Nickel and ships with a custom-fit bottom grid and basket strainer included in the box. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers handle this type of undermount application.
The DSZ-2718 is sized at 27 inches long by 18 inches wide by 10 inches deep and is designed to fit base cabinets starting at 30 inches. This makes it a practical fit for most residential kitchen layouts, including narrow galley kitchens and standard single-wall configurations. The rear drain position frees up front basin clearance and works well under standard faucet setups. The sink is part of the Zoria collection and is available in multiple finishes including Silver, Gold, Copper, and Gunmetal Black, though this SKU is specific to the Satin Brushed Nickel finish.
Designed for undermount installation in base cabinets starting at 30 inches. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch basket strainer drain assemblies. This SKU is configured for single-bowl residential kitchen applications in the Satin Brushed Nickel finish.
Undermount sink installation requires secure substrate support and appropriate silicone adhesive rated for continuous water exposure. A licensed plumber should complete the drain connection and verify the rough-in drain position aligns with the rear drain placement of this sink before finalizing the countertop cutout. Shut off the water supply and disconnect any existing drain assembly before beginning removal or installation. Follow local plumbing codes, including applicable IPC requirements, for drain connection and venting.
