The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSZ-1616SV is a single-bowl undermount bar sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome and nickel composition for long-term corrosion resistance. It features zero-radius corners that deliver crisp 90-degree edges and maximize usable bowl space. The bowl measures 16 inches long by 16 inches wide by 10 inches deep, making it a compact yet fully functional unit suited to bars, prep stations, and tight kitchen layouts. A channeled bottom with subtle grooves directs water smoothly toward the center drain to minimize pooling. Licensed plumbers and kitchen installers handle this fitting as a standard undermount installation in residential and light commercial settings.
The DSZ-1616SV fits into base cabinets under 33 inches wide, making it well suited for bar areas, prep zones, or secondary kitchen sinks where counter space is limited. It ships with the DSM-Z-BG1616 bottom grid and DSA-PBSSS basket strainer included. An optional three-piece bar kit is available as an add-on accessory. The sink is offered in multiple finishes including Satin Brushed Nickel, Silver, Gold, Copper, and Gunmetal Black to coordinate with varied decor styles. This SKU is the Silver finish variant.
Designed for undermount installation in base cabinets under 33 inches wide. Compatible with the DSM-Z-BG1616 bottom grid and DSA-PBSSS basket strainer included in the box. An optional three-piece bar kit accessory is also available for this sink.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified kitchen installer following local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before beginning undermount mounting work. The undermount mounting process requires appropriate adhesive, mounting clips, and silicone sealant rated for kitchen sink applications — verify cabinet substrate integrity before proceeding. Do not overtighten the basket strainer locknut, as this can distort the sink collar or damage the drain seat.
