The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSR-3121 is a single-bowl undermount kitchen sink crafted from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with a satin brushed nickel finish. The P-bowl configuration features standard-radius corners and a left-rear drain position. At 16 gauge, the steel provides solid resistance to denting and deflection under daily use. The satin brushed nickel surface reduces the visibility of water spots and minor surface marks. This sink is designed for residential kitchen installations handled by licensed plumbers or experienced trade professionals.
The DSR-3121 is sized for cabinet openings greater than 33 inches and is specifically designed to fit a 36-inch cabinet. Its undermount installation positions the sink below the countertop surface, eliminating a rim that would otherwise collect debris at the counter edge. This configuration suits stone, solid-surface, and engineered quartz countertops where undermount mounting is the standard approach. The traditional style integrates with a wide range of kitchen design profiles, from classic to transitional.
Designed for undermount installation in kitchen countertop applications requiring a cabinet size greater than 33 inches, with a recommended fit for 36-inch base cabinets. Part of the Sinara collection by DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS.
Undermount sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in coordination with a countertop fabricator, as the sink must be secured and sealed before or during countertop setting. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. A silicone sealant rated for kitchen and plumbing use is generally required along the mounting perimeter to prevent moisture infiltration between the sink flange and the underside of the countertop. Verify local plumbing code requirements, including those referenced in the IPC, before completing the drain rough-in and final connection.
