The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-A5050GBK is a 16-gauge 304 stainless steel undermount apron-front kitchen sink finished in Gunmetal Black. It features a 50/50 equal-bowl layout with two basins, each measuring approximately 14.625 inches by 16.125 inches by 10 inches deep, separated by a low divider. The sink body measures 33 inches long by 20 inches wide by 10 inches deep overall. Construction uses 18/10 chrome-nickel stainless steel with micro-radius corners (15 mm) for a clean, contemporary profile. Thermal undercoating and oversized damping pads reduce operational noise and protect cabinet surfaces from condensation. A channeled basin floor directs water toward the rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain.
The DSM-A5050GBK is designed for kitchen installations in residential and light-commercial settings where an apron-front or farmhouse-style sink is specified. The 50/50 bowl configuration supports multitasking workflows — one basin for washing, one for rinsing or food prep. The 33-inch overall length fits cabinets 33 inches wide or larger. The Gunmetal Black finish is part of the Marela collection, which is also available in Copper, Gold, Silver, and Satin Brushed Nickel. The package includes bottom grids (DSMZ-BGA5050) and a basket strainer (DSA-PBSSS).
Designed for undermount apron-front installation in cabinet openings sized for 33-inch or larger kitchen sink bases. Overall dimensions of 33 inches long by 20 inches wide by 10 inches deep make this sink a standard fit for most 36-inch-plus kitchen cabinet configurations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Power off any in-sink disposal units and shut off water supply lines before beginning work. Undermount apron-front sinks require adequate cabinet and countertop structural support — verify substrate integrity before securing the sink body. Do not overtighten basket strainer hardware, as this can distort the drain seat and cause leaks.
