The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-A5050 is a 16-gauge 304 stainless steel undermount apron-style kitchen sink with a 50/50 double-bowl configuration. It is built from 18/10 chrome/nickel stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Each bowl measures approximately 14.625 inches by 16.125 inches by 10 inches deep, separated by a low divider. The overall sink footprint is 33 inches long by 20 inches wide by 10 inches deep. Micro-radius corners (15 mm) simplify cleaning and give the sink a contemporary profile. A thermal undercoating and oversized damping pads reduce operational noise and protect cabinet surfaces from condensation. Licensed plumbers and kitchen remodelers install this sink in residential and light-commercial kitchen applications.
The DSM-A5050 is suited for residential kitchens requiring an apron-front undermount installation in cabinetry 33 inches or wider. The rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain on each bowl pairs with the channeled base to direct water away quickly and reduce standing water. The Satin Brushed Nickel finish integrates with contemporary and transitional kitchen designs. The sink ships with bottom grids (DSMZ-BGA5050) and basket strainers (DSA-PBSSS) included in the package, providing immediate protection for the bowl floor and a complete drain assembly out of the box.
Designed for undermount apron-front installation in standard kitchen base cabinets 33 inches wide or greater. Overall dimensions of 33 inches long by 20 inches wide by 10 inches deep confirm fitment before installation.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified kitchen remodeler. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain plumbing before removing any existing sink. Undermount apron installations require proper substrate support and a compatible silicone sealant rated for kitchen use; consult local plumbing codes (IPC) for drain connection requirements. Do not over-torque drain basket hardware, as this can distort the stainless steel bowl.
