The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-7030CP is a 16-gauge 304 stainless steel undermount kitchen sink in a 70/30 offset double-bowl configuration with a copper finish. Constructed from 18/10 chrome-nickel stainless steel, it delivers long-term corrosion resistance and structural rigidity under daily commercial-grade use. Micro-radius corners — approximately 15 mm — maximize usable bowl space while maintaining a clean, contemporary profile. A channeled base promotes fast drainage toward the rear center drain position, reducing standing water. The Peacekeeper Sound Absorption System includes a thermal undercoating and oversized sound-dampening pads to minimize vibration and protect the cabinet below from condensation damage. Licensed plumbers and kitchen contractors are the typical installers.
The DSM-7030CP is suited for residential kitchen and bar applications requiring an undermount installation in a base cabinet wider than 33 inches. The larger left bowl — representing 70 percent of the split — accommodates full-size cookware, while the compact right bowl handles prep and rinsing tasks independently. The copper finish places it within the Marela collection, which is also available in Satin Brushed Nickel, Silver, Gold, and Gunmetal Black finishes. The sink ships with a custom bottom grid (DSMZ-BG7030) and a basket strainer (DSA-PBSSS) included.
Designed for undermount installation in base cabinets wider than 33 inches. Overall dimensions are 32.75 inches long by 18.75 inches wide by 10.75 inches deep, as stated in the product data. Consult the cabinet cutout template supplied with the unit before beginning installation.
Undermount sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or experienced kitchen contractor. Shut off the water supply and disconnect any existing drain connections before removing an existing sink. Follow the manufacturer-supplied cutout template and mounting hardware instructions; silicone sealant application at the mounting flange is standard practice for undermount installations. Drain rough-in and supply connections must comply with applicable local plumbing codes.
