The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-5050LDGBK is a 50/50 equal-bowl undermount kitchen sink fabricated from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome and nickel composition. The Marela collection piece features micro-radius corners with 15 mm rounded edges and a low-divide configuration between the two bowls. A channeled bottom with rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drains promotes water flow and reduces pooling. Thermal undercoating and large sound-dampening pads are integrated into the underside to reduce operational noise and limit cabinet condensation. This sink ships in a Gunmetal Black finish and carries a lifetime limited warranty from Dakota Plumbing Products.
The DSM-5050LDGBK is suited for residential and light-commercial kitchen and bar installations where an undermount configuration is specified. The 50/50 double-bowl layout with a low divide supports simultaneous prep and washing tasks. Overall dimensions measure 32.75 inches long by 18.75 inches wide by 10.75 inches deep, making it compatible with base cabinets 36 inches or wider. This sink is also available in Satin Brushed Nickel, Silver, Copper, and Gold finishes within the Marela collection.
Designed for undermount installation in base cabinets 36 inches or wider. Part of the Marela collection by DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS. Compatible bottom grid model DSM-BG5050 and basket strainer model DSA-PBSSS are included.
Undermount sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber and requires secure fastening to the underside of the countertop substrate per the countertop and cabinet manufacturer specifications. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing any existing sink. Ensure the drain assembly, drain lines, and P-trap are all verified for proper fit prior to final mounting. Installation should comply with applicable local plumbing codes, including those aligned with the International Plumbing Code (IPC).
