The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-3218CP is a single-bowl undermount kitchen sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome-nickel composition. The sink features a micro-radius corner design with 15 mm rounded corners for a contemporary profile that simplifies cleaning. Overall dimensions are 32 inches long by 18 inches wide by 10 inches deep, with a bowl measuring approximately 30 inches by 16 inches by 10 inches. The rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain and channeled basin floor promote fast draining and reduce standing water. The DSM-3218CP ships in a Copper finish and is intended for installation by licensed plumbers or qualified kitchen remodelers.
This sink is designed for residential kitchen and bar applications requiring an undermount configuration. The 10-inch bowl depth accommodates large cookware and provides generous workspace. Cabinet sizing of 33 inches or greater is recommended for proper fit. The micro-radius corner geometry suits contemporary and transitional kitchen styles. A bottom grid (DSMZ-BG3218) and basket strainer (DSA-PBSSS) are included to protect the basin floor and provide a complete installation package out of the box.
Designed as an undermount replacement or new-installation sink for residential kitchen cabinets 33 inches wide or greater. Part of the Dakota Plumbing Products Marela collection.
Undermount sink installation requires securing the sink to the underside of the countertop using manufacturer-approved clips and silicone adhesive sealant rated for kitchen use. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain assembly before beginning any sink replacement work. A licensed plumber should verify drain rough-in location and confirm the 3.5-inch drain opening aligns with the existing or planned drain rough-in before final installation. Follow local plumbing codes, including applicable IPC requirements, for drain connection and venting.
