The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-3070GD is a 16-gauge 304 stainless steel undermount kitchen sink featuring a 30/70 asymmetric double-bowl layout in a Gold finish. It is part of the Marela collection and built for residential kitchen installations where durability and drainage performance are priorities. The smaller left bowl measures 9 inches wide and the larger right bowl measures 20 inches wide, both 16 inches front-to-back and 10 inches deep. Micro-radius corners at approximately 15 mm radius reduce pooling in the bowl corners and simplify cleaning. The Dakota Peacekeeper sound absorption system combines a thermal undercoating with oversized damping pads to reduce dish noise and limit condensation on the underside of the cabinet top.
The DSM-3070GD is designed for undermount installation in residential kitchens and bar areas. The overall footprint of 32 inches length by 18 inches width by 10 inches depth suits cabinetry greater than 33 inches wide. The rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain in each bowl works with integrated channeled bottom grooves to direct water efficiently toward the drain and accelerate drying. This sink is suited for high-use kitchen environments where multitasking between food prep in the smaller bowl and washing in the larger bowl is a daily workflow. The Gold finish is one of several finishes available in the Marela collection, including Satin Brushed Nickel, Silver, Copper, and Gunmetal Black.
Designed for undermount installation in kitchen cabinetry greater than 33 inches wide. Overall dimensions of 32 inches length by 18 inches width by 10 inches depth are compatible with most standard residential kitchen cabinet configurations. Includes DSM-BG7030 bottom grid and DSA-PBSSS basket strainer as matched accessories.
Undermount sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or experienced kitchen installer. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before beginning removal of any existing sink. Secure the sink to the underside of the countertop using the appropriate adhesive and mounting hardware per the countertop material manufacturer guidelines and local plumbing code requirements. Verify drain alignment with the rear-positioned drain cutout before final fastening.
