The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-3070GBK is a 30/70 split double-bowl undermount kitchen sink constructed from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chromium-nickel composition. It features micro-radius corners measuring 15 millimeters for a contemporary profile that simplifies corner cleaning. The Gunmetal Black finish provides a dark, matte aesthetic suited to modern kitchen designs. Overall dimensions measure 32 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 10 inches in depth. The left bowl measures 9 inches wide and the right bowl measures 20 inches wide, both sharing a 16-inch front-to-back dimension and 10-inch depth. A licensed plumber or skilled tradesperson typically handles undermount sink installations.
This sink is designed for undermount installation in residential kitchen and bar applications. The rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain on each bowl incorporates channeled bottom grooves that direct water toward the drain, reducing pooling and accelerating drying time. The 30/70 bowl configuration supports multitasking workflows, with the compact left bowl suited for prep tasks and the larger right bowl handling wash and clean-up. Cabinet cutout compatibility requires a cabinet size greater than 33 inches. The sink is part of the Marela collection from Dakota Plumbing Products and is offered alongside matching Satin Brushed Nickel, Silver, Copper, and Gold finish variants.
Designed for undermount installation in kitchen cabinets sized greater than 33 inches. Overall dimensions of 32 inches by 18 inches by 10 inches are compatible with most standard residential kitchen cabinet configurations.
Undermount sink installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before beginning removal of any existing sink. Use manufacturer-approved silicone sealant and mounting hardware rated for undermount applications to ensure a watertight seal against the countertop substrate. Do not support the sink weight solely by the drain assemblies during installation.
