The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-3018SV is a single-bowl undermount kitchen sink constructed from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome and nickel content ratio. The micro-radius corner design keeps the interior profile clean while making the bowl easier to wipe down. Overall dimensions are 30 inches long by 18 inches wide by 10 inches deep, with a bowl interior of approximately 28 inches by 16 inches by 10 inches. The rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain and channeled bottom direct water away from standing areas. Thermal undercoating and enlarged sound-dampening pads reduce dishwashing noise and limit cabinet condensation. This sink ships with a protective bottom grid and a basket strainer included in the box.
The DSM-3018SV is suited for residential kitchen and bar installations where undermount mounting to stone, solid-surface, or engineered countertops is specified. The 30-inch by 18-inch footprint fits base cabinets 33 inches and larger. The Silver finish coordinates with brushed metal fixtures and contemporary hardware. Licensed plumbers typically install this sink during countertop fabrication or during a kitchen remodel. It is part of the Marela collection from DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS, which is also available in Satin Brushed Nickel, Gunmetal Black, Copper, and Gold finishes.
Designed for undermount installation in residential kitchen and bar applications requiring a single-bowl sink in base cabinets 33 inches and larger. The 3.5-inch rear drain opening is compatible with standard basket strainer assemblies.
Undermount sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in coordination with the countertop fabricator, as the sink must be secured and sealed before the countertop is set. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain assembly before removing any existing sink. Follow the countertop manufacturer's instructions for adhesive, clip placement, and silicone sealant application around the sink perimeter. Confirm the drain rough-in location aligns with the rear drain position before finalizing the countertop cutout.
