The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-2321 is a single-bowl undermount kitchen sink constructed from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome and nickel alloy composition. It features micro-radius corners at 15 millimeters for a contemporary profile that is easier to wipe clean than sharp-cornered designs. The sink measures 23.5 inches in length, 21.5 inches in width, and 10.5 inches in depth, making it a compact but functional choice for kitchens and wet bars. A channeled bottom directs water toward a rear center drain sized at 3.5 inches. Qualified plumbing professionals and remodeling contractors are the typical installers for this undermount configuration.
The DSM-2321 is designed for undermount installation in residential kitchen and bar applications. It fits cabinets 30 inches wide or larger, making it well-suited for compact kitchens, secondary prep areas, and bar sink setups where counter space is a priority. The brushed nickel finish is one of five available in the Marela collection, alongside Silver, Gold, Copper, and Gunmetal Black. The sink ships with a bottom grid and basket strainer (model DSM-BG2321 and DSA-PBSSS). A thermal undercoating and oversized sound-dampening pads are factory-applied to the underside to reduce operational noise and protect cabinet surfaces from condensation.
Designed for undermount installation in cabinets 30 inches wide or larger. Part of the Marela collection by Dakota Plumbing Products. Includes accessories DSM-BG2321 and DSA-PBSSS.
Undermount sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or experienced remodeling contractor. The countertop cutout and mounting hardware must be rated for the weight and depth of this sink before installation begins. Shut off the water supply and drain all supply lines before disconnecting any existing plumbing. Follow local plumbing codes, including applicable IPC requirements, for drain connection and venting.
