The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-2318CP is a single-bowl undermount bar and kitchen sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome-nickel composition. It measures 23 inches long by 18 inches wide by 10 inches deep, making it a practical fit for compact kitchen workstations and bar setups where counter space is at a premium. The micro-radius corners, radiused to approximately 15 millimeters, reduce buildup in the corners and make routine cleaning faster. A channeled bottom directs water toward the 3.5-inch center drain, minimizing standing water between service calls. This unit ships in a Copper finish and is part of the Marela collection.
This sink is intended for undermount installation in residential and light-commercial kitchen and bar applications where cabinet width is less than 33 inches. The single-bowl configuration suits food prep, glass washing, and bar service. The 10-inch depth provides usable bowl volume without requiring unusually deep countertop cutouts. Installers working on tight countertop layouts will find the 23-inch by 18-inch footprint compatible with standard compact base cabinet configurations. The Peacekeeper sound absorption system, which includes thermal undercoating and oversized sound-dampening pads, reduces operational noise and protects cabinetry surfaces from condensation.
Designed for undermount installation in kitchen and bar countertop cutouts requiring a cabinet size less than 33 inches. Part of the Dakota Plumbing Products Marela collection. Compatible drain accessories include the DSM-BG2318 bottom grid and the corresponding basket strainer, both included.
Undermount sink installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified trade professional. Shut off water supply lines and clear the cabinet interior before beginning cutout or mounting work. Mounting clips, silicone sealant, and appropriate support blocking are typically required for undermount installations and must be rated for the countertop material in use. Verify local plumbing code requirements, including drain alignment and venting, before rough-in.
