The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-2318 is a single-bowl undermount bar and kitchen sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome-nickel composition. The micro-radius corner design measures 15 mm and delivers a contemporary profile that is easier to wipe down than sharp-cornered basins. At 23 inches long by 18 inches wide by 10 inches deep, the bowl offers generous capacity without requiring a large cabinet footprint. A channeled bottom directs water toward the rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain, reducing standing water. The brushed nickel finish resists fingerprints and integrates cleanly into modern countertop installations. Licensed plumbers and skilled trade installers handle this type of undermount sink fitment.
The DSM-2318 is suited for residential kitchen and bar applications where cabinet width is less than 33 inches. Its compact footprint makes it a practical choice for wet bars, prep stations, and smaller kitchen layouts where counter space optimization matters. The undermount installation keeps the countertop surface flush and unobstructed, simplifying cleaning around the sink perimeter. The Marela collection offers this model in multiple finishes including Satin Brushed Nickel, Silver, Copper, Gold, and Gunmetal Black, allowing specification flexibility across different design schemes.
Designed as an undermount single-bowl bar or kitchen sink for cabinets less than 33 inches wide. Part of the Dakota Plumbing Products Marela collection.
Undermount sink installation requires securing the sink to the underside of a solid countertop surface using appropriate clips and silicone sealant rated for wet environments. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain assembly before removing any existing sink. Installation should conform to local plumbing codes and is typically performed by a licensed plumber. Do not over-tighten mounting hardware against stone or solid-surface countertops, as cracking or surface damage may result.
