The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSE-HCA3320 is a handmade apron-style farmhouse kitchen sink crafted from 14-gauge copper with a hand-hammered finish. The hammered texture is applied by hand, giving each unit a distinct surface pattern and reinforcing the structural integrity of the copper shell. The center drain position keeps plumbing rough-in straightforward, and the standard-radius corners work with conventional cabinetry cutouts. This sink is installed by plumbers or experienced remodelers in residential kitchen applications. Copper naturally develops a patina over time, which is a normal and expected characteristic of the material, not a defect.
The DSE-HCA3320 is designed for apron or farmhouse-style kitchen installations requiring a cabinet size greater than 33 inches. The traditional styling suits both new construction and kitchen renovation projects where an exposed apron front is part of the design intent. The hammered copper finish pairs with a range of faucet finishes commonly used in traditional and transitional kitchen designs. Installation is into a base cabinet with an apron-front cutout, with the sink supported on the cabinet frame rather than a standard drop-in or undermount mounting method.
Designed for apron-front farmhouse kitchen sink installations in base cabinets larger than 33 inches in width. Intended for residential kitchen applications.
Installation of this apron-front copper sink should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified remodeler. Shut off the water supply at the main or local stop valves before beginning any sink or drain connection work. The base cabinet must be modified or purpose-built to accept the exposed apron front, and the cabinet frame must provide adequate structural support for the weight of the copper sink. Copper is a soft metal and can be scratched or dented by metal tools during installation; use padded supports and non-abrasive materials when handling and setting the sink.
