The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS GSZ-3218-9 is a zero-radius single bowl undermount kitchen sink built from 304 stainless steel with an 18-gauge wall thickness and a brushed nickel finish. It measures 32 by 18 inches and features sharp, straight corners and a 95-degree sidewall slope that define the contemporary zero-radius profile. The rear drain position maximizes usable bowl depth and keeps plumbing connections out of the work zone. Licensed plumbers and finish carpenters install this sink as part of a countertop cutout and undermount clip assembly. The GSZ-3218-9 fits the Zylo series from DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS.
This sink is designed for residential kitchen and bar installations where a minimalist, modern aesthetic is the priority. The zero-radius corner design suits contemporary and transitional cabinetry. A cabinet opening greater than 33 inches is required to accommodate the sink deck and mounting hardware. The rear drain placement is well suited to deep base cabinet runs where trap access is straightforward. Compatible bottom grid accessory part number GSMZ-BG3218 is available separately and is sized to fit this bowl.
Part of the DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS Zylo series. Requires a cabinet cutout greater than 33 inches. Compatible bottom grid: GSMZ-BG3218 (sold separately). No additional model-specific compatibility data was provided by the manufacturer.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in coordination with a countertop fabricator who completes the undermount cutout and silicone seal. Shut off water supply lines and disconnect the existing drain assembly before beginning removal of any existing sink. Follow local plumbing codes, including applicable IPC requirements, for drain sizing and trap configuration. Do not overtighten undermount mounting clips, as this can stress the countertop substrate and compromise the silicone seal.
