The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-3018GD is a single-bowl undermount kitchen sink built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome and nickel content for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The Gold finish gives it a contemporary look that holds up in demanding kitchen environments. Micro-radius corners measuring 15 mm keep the profile modern and simplify cleaning. A channeled bottom directs water toward the rear-positioned drain, reducing pooling and speeding drainage. Factory-included thermal undercoating and oversized sound-dampening pads limit noise during heavy use and help control cabinet condensation. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers handle this type of undermount sink in both residential and light-commercial applications.
The DSM-3018GD fits base cabinets 33 inches and larger. Its overall footprint is 30 inches long by 18 inches wide by 10 inches deep, with a bowl interior of approximately 28 inches by 16 inches by 10 inches. The rear drain position works well in galley-style and island layouts where centered drains conflict with cabinet framing. The sink ships with a protective bottom grid (DSM-BG3018) and a basket strainer to reduce bowl scratching and simplify routine cleaning. This model is part of the Marela collection and is finished in Gold.
Designed for undermount installation in base cabinets 33 inches and larger. Accepts a standard 3.5-inch drain opening. Part of the Marela collection by DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS.
Undermount sink installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified contractor. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing any existing sink. Proper undermount clip spacing and silicone sealant application to the cabinet substrate are critical for a watertight, supported installation. Verify local plumbing code requirements, which may reference IPC standards, before roughing in drain connections.
