The D-LINE CC-1 is a single-channel floor cable cover made from polyvinylchloride (PVC), designed to protect cables routed across floors in commercial, industrial, and trade environments. The cover lies flat over existing cable runs using a lay-under entry style, allowing installation without threading cables through. It spans 6 feet in length with an overall width of 2.5 inches and a height of 0.44 inches, keeping a low profile underfoot. Rated for 2,000 pounds of load capacity, it withstands foot traffic and light rolling loads. The black finish blends with most flooring surfaces. Electricians, AV installers, and facility maintenance techs are the primary installers of this product.
The CC-1 suits temporary or semi-permanent cable management in offices, event spaces, retail floors, warehouses, and job sites where exposed cables present a trip hazard. The single channel accommodates cables up to 21/64 inches in diameter, making it compatible with standard low-voltage runs, extension cords, and data cables. Each unit covers 6 feet of run length, and multiple covers can be placed end to end for longer spans. The smooth texture and low-profile design reduce tripping risk while keeping cables accessible for inspection or reconfiguration without tools.
Designed as an OEM-style floor cable management solution for single-channel cable protection applications where cables up to 21/64 inches in diameter require floor routing coverage.
Installation is typically performed by electricians, AV technicians, or facilities maintenance personnel. De-energize or unplug all cables before placing them under the cover. Position the cover over the cable run and press down to seat it flat against the floor surface. For multi-section runs, align covers end to end and verify each section is seated securely to avoid creating an edge trip hazard. Local NEC guidelines for temporary and permanent cable management should be observed.
