The CUSTOM BUILDING PRODUCTS WDG5-4 is a white nonsanded dry tile grout formulated for grouting porous-bodied floor and wall tiles with joints up to 1/8 inch wide. Portland cement-based, it cures hard, is nonshrinking, and delivers lasting durability in demanding environments. This grout is specifically engineered for soft glazed, high glazed, and marble tiles where sanded grouts could cause surface scratching. It is mixed with water on site and is intended for installation by tile setters and flooring contractors in both residential and commercial applications.

The WDG5-4 is suited for a wide range of installation environments including residential floors, walls, showers (walls and floors), and countertops. It also meets the demands of commercial settings such as kitchens, schools, and hospitals where tile surfaces require a clean, durable, and hard-curing grout finish. Its nonsanded formulation makes it the correct choice wherever joint width does not exceed 1/8 inch and where tile surfaces are susceptible to abrasion from grit.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified tile setter or flooring contractor following the tile industry standards such as those published by the Tile Council of North America. Mix only as much grout as can be worked within the open time and avoid adding excess water, which can weaken the finished joint. Allow the substrate and tile adhesive to be fully cured before grouting, and ensure the joint is free of adhesive residue.
