The CUSTOM BUILDING PRODUCTS LQWAF3 RedGard is a ready-to-use elastomeric waterproofing and crack prevention membrane formulated for tile and stone installations in both residential and commercial settings. It applies with a roller, trowel, or sprayer to form a continuous moisture barrier with strong adhesion to a wide range of substrates. As a crack prevention membrane, it covers approximately 110 square feet per gallon at 30 mil wet thickness. As a waterproofing membrane, coverage is 35 to 40 square feet per gallon at 93 mil wet thickness and 47 mil dry thickness. Tile setters, flooring contractors, and plumbers rely on this product for wet area protection and crack isolation.

RedGard LQWAF3 is suitable for interior and exterior applications including shower pans, wet rooms, exterior decks, and slab-on-grade moisture barriers under resilient flooring. Approved substrates include concrete, cement backer boards, Wonderboard, exterior grade plywood in interior dry areas for crack isolation only, exterior decks, and gypsum drywall.
