The CUSTOM BLDG PRODUCTS PBPG6477-4 is a polymer-modified, cement-based sanded grout formulated for hard, dense tile joints in demanding interior and exterior applications. This 7-pound unit delivers the Brown Velvet colorway with enhanced color consistency and finished-color performance over standard cement grouts. Certified to ANSI A118.7, the material resists shrinking, cracking, and wear once cured. It is suitable for joint widths from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch and is commonly installed by tile setters, flooring contractors, and experienced DIYers working on residential or light commercial projects. Each package contains 4 units.
PBPG6477-4 is designed for a wide range of surfaces and environments. Approved applications include interior and exterior floors, countertops, walls, ceilings, showers, fountains, and pools. The sanded formula provides body and strength needed for joints at or above 1/8 inch, where unsanded grouts would be prone to shrinkage. This makes it a practical choice for large-format tile, natural stone, and standard ceramic or porcelain installations where color uniformity and joint durability are priorities.
Designed as an OEM-style sanded grout replacement suitable for ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile installations requiring joint widths between 1/8 inch and 1/2 inch in interior or exterior settings.
Tile setters and flooring contractors should ensure substrate surfaces are clean, flat, and free of standing water before mixing and applying grout. Follow ANSI and TCNA handbook guidelines for mixing ratios, working time, and curing periods. Do not apply in temperatures outside the range specified on the product packaging, and protect freshly grouted joints from water exposure during the initial cure window. Always wear appropriate respiratory and skin protection when handling dry cement-based materials.
