The CUSTOM BLDG PRODUCTS MTSG50 is a 50-pound bag of Versa Bond all-purpose polymer-modified thin set mortar in gray. It is a high-strength bonding mortar engineered for installing tile on floors and walls across a wide range of substrate types. The polymer modification improves adhesion and flexibility compared to standard Portland-based mortars. It meets ANSI A118.4, the industry standard for polymer-modified tile adhesive mortars. The formula is dry-mix and requires only the addition of water on-site — no liquid additive or latex modifier is needed. Licensed tile setters, flooring contractors, and experienced trade professionals are the primary installers.

Versa Bond MTSG50 is suited for residential and light commercial tile installations on floors and walls. Typical applications include ceramic, porcelain, and similar tile set over concrete slabs, backer board, and other approved substrates.
