The CULLIGAN INC RFC-BBS-A is a heavy duty radial flow carbon filter cartridge designed for residential and light commercial water filtration systems. It reduces sediment including sand, dirt, silt, coarse sand, rust, and scale particles, while also addressing chlorine taste and odor as well as general bad taste and odor. Rated at 25 microns, this cartridge delivers consistent mechanical and carbon filtration through a radial flow design that maximizes contact time between water and the carbon media. Filter life is rated at approximately 3 months or 5,000 gallons, whichever comes first. Licensed plumbers and water treatment technicians are the typical installers.
