The P-trap shape is formed by looping the rubber hose, which slides and holds position without separate fittings. The wall connection screws into a watertight fitting, and a clamp with a thumb screw secures the hose to the tail pipe from the drain basket. No pipe wrenches or thread sealant are required during installation.
