The CROWN ENGINEERING 41910 is a 6J Woods coupler end designed for use in mechanical drive and power transmission applications. This coupler end connects rotating shafts and drive components in HVAC and industrial equipment, providing a reliable mechanical link between motor and driven-load assemblies. The 41910 features a 5/8-inch bore dimension suited for standard shaft sizing. Installation is handled by qualified mechanical or HVAC technicians during motor replacement or drive servicing.
This coupler end is commonly used in light commercial and residential mechanical systems where jaw-style coupling hardware is required. The 6J jaw profile mates with a corresponding spider insert and opposing coupler half to complete the flexible coupling assembly. It is suited for applications where vibration dampening and misalignment tolerance are priorities in drive systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement coupler end for mechanical drive assemblies using Woods-style 6J jaw coupling components with a 5/8-inch shaft bore.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or HVAC technician. Disconnect and lock out all power to the drive system before removing or installing coupling components. Ensure the shaft and bore are clean and free of debris before seating the coupler end. Verify alignment of the coupled shafts after assembly to prevent premature wear on the spider insert.
