The CRESLINE pvc-4x10 is a Schedule 40 PVC pipe section measuring 4 inches inside diameter and 10 feet (120 inches) in length. Schedule 40 PVC is a rigid thermoplastic pipe widely used in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems as well as cold-water supply, irrigation, and conduit applications. The thick-wall Schedule 40 rating provides adequate pressure handling for standard residential and light commercial service. Licensed plumbers, irrigation contractors, and electricians install this pipe depending on the application.
This pipe is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems, underground drainage, gravity-flow sewer laterals, and above-grade DWV rough-in work. The 4-inch diameter is a common size for main drain lines, toilet drain stubs, and horizontal branch drains. Irrigation and conduit installers also use Schedule 40 PVC pipe of this diameter for sleeve runs and main supply lines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation pipe for residential and commercial Schedule 40 PVC plumbing, drainage, and conduit systems using 4-inch solvent-weld fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified contractor in accordance with the IPC, local plumbing codes, and applicable conduit codes where electrical use is intended. Cut pipe with a fine-tooth saw or PVC pipe cutter and deburr cut ends before joining. Solvent-cement joints require proper primer and cement rated for Schedule 40 PVC. Support horizontal runs at intervals specified by the local code to prevent sagging over time.
