The CRC INDUSTRIES 5113 is a technician-grade dielectric grease formulated to seal, protect, and electrically insulate connections in low-voltage and high-voltage applications. This non-curing compound reduces arcing and voltage drop at contact points, helping maintain reliable electrical performance over time. Packaged in a 3.3-ounce tube with a precision applicator for controlled dispensing, the 5113 is well suited for service technicians working on electrical, HVAC, automotive, and plumbing control system connections where moisture intrusion and corrosion are common failure points.
Dielectric grease is applied to electrical connectors, spark plug boots, terminal blocks, and similar components to prevent moisture ingress and galvanic corrosion. It also serves as a lubricant for plastic and rubber components that move or flex during assembly, reducing wear and preventing binding. The 5113 is appropriate for residential and light commercial service work where a controlled, clean application is required on sensitive or exposed electrical contacts.
Designed for use on electrical connectors, terminals, and insulating components in HVAC, plumbing controls, and general electrical service applications where a non-curing dielectric compound is required.
Apply dielectric grease only to the insulating surfaces, boots, or housing of a connector — not directly on load-bearing metal contact pins, as excessive buildup can impede conductivity. De-energize all circuits and follow NFPA 70 (NEC) lockout procedures before servicing electrical connections. A small amount applied with the precision tip is sufficient for most connectors; wipe away any excess to keep the work area clean.
