The CRC Industries 1003248 is an HFE-based precision contact cleaner formulated for fast, residue-free cleaning of sensitive electrical and electronic components. It evaporates quickly without leaving behind any film or buildup, making it well suited for service work where contamination cannot be tolerated. The cleaner carries a dielectric strength of 30,800 volts and a KB value of 45, providing effective solvent action while remaining safe for the electrical assemblies it contacts. It contains no Class I or Class II Ozone Depleting Chemicals, has no flash point, and is rated nonflammable. Packaged in a 16 oz aerosol can pressurized with HFC-134a propellant, it delivers controlled spray application in the field or shop.
This cleaner is intended for use on contacts, metal switches, motors, relays, generators, edge connectors, buss bars, circuit breakers, scales, and sensors. It serves as an effective alternative to 141b-based cleaners in applications where sensitive plastics are not a concern. It is not recommended for use on Lexan, Noryl, or polycarbonate-type plastics. HVAC technicians, electricians, and electronics service professionals commonly use this product during maintenance and repair of electrical panels, motor starters, relay boards, and similar assemblies.
Designed for use on contacts, metal switches, motors, relays, generators, edge connectors, buss bars, circuit breakers, scales, and sensors. Not recommended for use on Lexan, Noryl, or polycarbonate-type plastics.
This product is typically applied by licensed electricians, HVAC technicians, and electronics service professionals during maintenance or repair procedures. While the cleaner is nonflammable, always follow applicable NEC guidelines and site safety protocols before servicing electrical equipment. De-energize circuits and discharge capacitors before applying cleaner to enclosed assemblies where airflow is restricted. Allow complete evaporation before restoring power to any cleaned component.
