The CRC INDUSTRIES 03085 is a food grade dielectric grease formulated as a non-curing silicone compound designed for sealing, lubricating, protecting, and insulating electrical connections and components. Supplied in a 6 oz container, this NLGI 2 opaque white gel creates a moisture barrier that waterproofs terminals, connectors, and related components. It is used by electricians, HVAC technicians, and plant maintenance personnel who need a reliable dielectric compound that meets food grade handling requirements. The gel consistency allows controlled application in both field service and facility maintenance settings.
This silicone compound is suited for food processing environments, commercial kitchens, and industrial facilities where incidental food contact compliance is required. It performs in applications involving gaskets, transfer belts, conveyor belts, motors, plant machinery, and handling equipment. It is also applied to rubber moldings, high-temperature low-load slides, rollers, wheels, gears, chains, and hoists. Electricians and maintenance techs use it to restore electrical performance in connectors exposed to moisture, humidity, or adverse weather conditions.
Designed as a general-purpose dielectric sealing compound compatible with electrical connectors, rubber gaskets, conveyor and transfer belts, motors, gears, rollers, and related mechanical and electrical components in industrial and food processing environments.
Application is typically performed by licensed electricians or qualified maintenance technicians. De-energize and lock out all circuits before applying to any electrical connection or terminal. Apply a thin, even coat to connector surfaces using a clean applicator to avoid contaminating surrounding components. Work practices should comply with applicable NEC guidelines and facility safety protocols for food grade environments.
