The CRC INDUSTRIES 03082 is a non-curing silicone dielectric grease in a 16 oz aerosol container with a 10 oz net fill, formulated to seal, lubricate, protect, and insulate electrical connections and components. Rated NLGI 2 and classified as a silicone compound, it delivers a dielectric strength of 500 V/Mil and operates across a wide temperature range of -70 to 400 degrees F. The white, translucent-opaque formula resists moisture, salt spray, fog, and temperature extremes that degrade electrical performance. Licensed electricians, HVAC technicians, and electrical maintenance professionals use it across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
This product is suited for outdoor and indoor electrical assemblies where moisture intrusion and arcing are concerns. Typical applications include electrical panels, outdoor lighting fixtures, scoreboards, traffic lights, high-voltage poles, transformers, disconnects, and switching mechanisms. It also performs well on electrical contacts, spark plugs, battery terminals, fasteners, O-rings, and rubber or plastic components. The aerosol delivery format makes it practical for confined spaces and overhead installations where direct application is difficult.
Designed for use on electrical panels, outdoor lighting, scoreboards, traffic lights, high-voltage poles, transformers, disconnects, switching mechanisms, electrical contacts, spark plugs, battery terminals, fasteners, O-rings, and rubber and plastic parts across residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before applying dielectric grease to any live electrical component. Licensed electricians should follow applicable NEC guidelines when servicing panels, disconnects, or high-voltage equipment. Apply a thin, even coat to contact surfaces and connector bodies before reassembly. Avoid overapplication on sealed contacts where excess grease could attract debris over time.
