The CRC INDUSTRIES 03060 is a concentrated petroleum-distillate penetrating solvent packaged in a 16 oz aerosol can with an 11 oz net fill. It is formulated to attack rust, scale, and corrosion on seized or corroded fasteners and mechanical components. The propellant is carbon dioxide, and the formula carries an NSF H2 rating, making it suitable for use in facilities where incidental food contact is a concern. The amber-colored fluid penetrates tight and minute crevices rapidly, freeing stuck hardware without prolonged soak time. Licensed tradespeople and maintenance technicians across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical service use this product during preventive maintenance and emergency repair work.
This penetrant is intended for use on a wide range of corroded or frozen mechanical connections in both residential and commercial settings. Typical applications include nuts and bolts, pins, screws, bushings, clips, hinges, snaps, lugs, caps, locks, washers, and sliding mechanisms. It performs well in field service environments where fasteners have been exposed to moisture, outdoor conditions, or extended service cycles without maintenance. The VOC-compliant formula meets regulatory requirements in areas with strict volatile organic compound limits.
Designed for use on nuts and bolts, pins, screws, bushings, clips, hinges, snaps, lugs, caps, locks, washers, and sliding mechanisms across general mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance applications.
Apply to corroded or seized components before attempting disassembly to reduce the risk of fastener breakage or thread damage. Allow adequate dwell time for the solvent to wick into tight crevices before applying torque. Use in well-ventilated areas and keep away from open flames, as the product has a flashpoint of 141 degrees F. Consult the product MSDS (number 3060) for full handling, storage, and disposal guidance.
