The CRC 1003403 is a flammable aerosol contact cleaner designed to remove contamination from electrical and electronic components. It delivers a fast-evaporating liquid spray that cleans residues, oils, and debris from sensitive surfaces without leaving a residue. With a dielectric strength of 45,700 volts, it provides a high level of electrical isolation after application. The 16 oz aerosol can contains 11.00 oz net fill and is rated safe for most plastics, making it suitable for use on a wide range of components found in HVAC equipment, industrial controls, and electrical panels. HVAC technicians, electricians, and electronics service professionals commonly use this product during preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
This contact cleaner is formulated for use on a broad range of electrical and electromechanical components. Typical applications include cleaning bus bars, circuit breakers, contacts, edge connectors, electromechanical assemblies, sensors, generators, motors, printed circuit boards, relays, switches, tape heads, plastics, insulators, and telecommunication equipment. It is appropriate for both residential and commercial service work where residue-free cleaning of energized or de-energized components is required. The slight hydrocarbon fragrance is expected and consistent with the solvent formulation.
Suitable for use on bus bars, circuit breakers, contacts, edge connectors, electromechanical assemblies, sensors, generators, motors, PCs, plastics, insulators, printed circuit boards, relays, switches, tape heads, and telecommunication equipment as stated by the manufacturer.
This product is flammable — keep away from open flames, sparks, and energized equipment during application unless the component is rated for use with flammable cleaners. Electricians and HVAC technicians should de-energize and lock out equipment before applying cleaner to internal components where practical, following applicable NFPA 70E arc flash and lockout/tagout procedures. Allow the solvent to fully evaporate before re-energizing any circuit. Use in well-ventilated areas and observe all safety data sheet guidance for handling and storage.
