The CRC 1003166 is a food grade penetrant lubricant supplied in a 16 oz spray bottle. It forms a non-drying film that penetrates tight tolerances, frees seized or corroded fasteners, and provides lasting lubrication on metal surfaces in food-processing and light industrial environments. The amber-colored formula is rated for use up to 250 degrees F and carries NSF H2 registration, making it suitable for incidental food-contact applications. HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and maintenance professionals working in food-service or food-processing facilities rely on this product where standard lubricants are not food-safe approved.
This penetrant lubricant is suited for residential and commercial maintenance applications where food-grade compliance is required. Typical use cases include food-processing equipment, commercial kitchen ventilation hardware, refrigeration mechanical components, and any facility subject to USDA or NSF inspection. It is not formulated for extreme-pressure or high-temperature applications beyond 250 degrees F. The spray bottle format allows targeted application in confined spaces and on threaded fasteners, hinges, and sliding mechanisms.
Designed for use as a penetrant and lubricant on metal fasteners, hinges, bearings, and mechanical components in food-grade environments. Consult the product safety data sheet to confirm suitability for specific substrate materials including plastics and elastomers.
Apply only in well-ventilated areas — this product is flammable and should be kept away from open flames, sparks, and ignition sources during application. Electricians and maintenance technicians should de-energize equipment before applying any spray lubricant near electrical contacts or terminals, even given the listed dielectric strength rating. Allow adequate dwell time on seized fasteners before applying torque. Dispose of empty containers in accordance with local regulations.
