The CRC 03125 is a petroleum distillate-based precision contact cleaner formulated for electrical and electronic maintenance work. Packaged in a 16 oz aerosol can with an 11 oz net fill, it delivers a clear, liquid spray that evaporates slowly and leaves surfaces clean without corrosive residue. The high flash point of 204 degrees F makes it a practical alternative to chlorofluorocarbon (CFC)-based cleaners in applications where flammability thresholds must stay elevated. A KB value of 25 reflects its moderate solvency, appropriate for light contamination on sensitive components without attacking plastics aggressively. Licensed electricians, HVAC technicians, and electronics service professionals reach for this product during routine maintenance of contactors, relays, switches, and circuit boards.
This cleaner is suited for residential and light commercial electrical maintenance, motor control panels, HVAC control boards, and precision electronic assemblies where a higher flash point solvent is required. It is commonly used in facilities, field service, and shop environments where CFC-based aerosol cleaners have been phased out or are restricted. The slow evaporation rate allows adequate contact time with soiled surfaces before the solvent flashes off. Sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 12 units per case.
Designed for use on electrical contacts, relays, switches, circuit boards, and other precision components where a petroleum distillate-based, higher-flash-point cleaner is specified. Verify material compatibility with plastics and elastomers before use on sensitive assemblies.
De-energize all circuits and disconnect power before applying any contact cleaner to electrical components - this is standard practice required by NEC guidelines and basic electrical safety. Apply in a well-ventilated area; although flash point is elevated compared to many aerosol cleaners, the product is still flammable and should be kept away from open flames and ignition sources. Allow full evaporation before re-energizing equipment. Aerosol sprays should be directed precisely to avoid overspray onto materials with known solvent incompatibility.
