The Crandall 2360-501-CS&S Pneumatic Reversing Relay is a vital component in any proportional control system. It works by reversing the signal as needed, helping to manage system pressure efficiently. As the input signal pressure increases, the branch line signal pressure decreases correspondingly. This function is crucial for amplifying the air volume directed to various devices.
The unit is factory calibrated to ensure optimal performance, providing a twenty to zero output pressure based on a zero to twenty input signal. The crossover point, adjustable between two PSI to fifteen PSI, can be fine-tuned using a hex socket screw located at the top of the relay. The relay is designed for a nominal air supply of twenty PSI and can handle up to thirty PSI for heavy-duty applications.
The device also withstands high temperatures, operating effectively up to one hundred forty degrees Fahrenheit. Weighing only two tenths of a pound, this compact unit measures one and seven-eighths inches in height, two and one-eighth inches in width, and two and three-quarter inches in depth. Its small size makes it suitable for various installations.
A must-have tool for HVAC systems and pneumatic controls.
