The COXREELS VA-1175-850 is a spring-driven vacuum hose reel built for industrial and trade environments where controlled extraction of fumes, particles, and airborne by-products is required. Part of the COXREELS V Series, this reel accommodates 1-1/2 inch NPT vacuum hose and is constructed around a one-piece CNC robotically welded 1/4 inch steel A-frame base with a double-supported axle. At 123 pounds, the unit is built for stationary or semi-permanent installation. An adjustable tension brake controls hose retrieval speed and prevents free-wheeling during operation, transport, and storage. Licensed HVAC techs, industrial hygienists, and mechanical contractors install this type of reel in shop environments and enclosed work areas where vacuum extraction is a continuous workflow requirement.
The VA-1175-850 is suited for workshop, garage, and light industrial installations where vacuum hose must be deployed and retracted repeatedly throughout the workday. The reel's low-profile outlet riser and open drum slot design allow the hose to wrap flat without crimping, maintaining consistent airflow and hose integrity over time. The vacuum swivel is rated for 1-1/2 inch, 29 HG vacuum hose, making it appropriate for high-demand extraction tasks including grinding and sanding dust collection in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces.
Designed for use with 1-1/2 inch NPT vacuum hose rated for 29 HG vacuum service. Part of the COXREELS V Series vacuum hose reel platform.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or industrial equipment technician familiar with vacuum plumbing systems. Mount the reel to a solid structural surface using the integrated base mounting pattern, ensuring the mounting substrate can support the unit's 123 pound operating weight. Verify that all vacuum line connections are secure and leak-free before system startup. Disconnect and de-energize the vacuum source before performing any service or hose replacement on the reel.
