The COXREELS VA-1175-850-C is a spring-driven vacuum hose reel built for industrial and commercial environments where fume, particle, and by-product extraction is required at the workstation. Part of the COXREELS V Series, this reel is engineered with a 1-1/2 inch NPT inlet and accommodates up to 50 feet of vacuum hose rated for 29 Hg service. The unit weighs 121 pounds and is constructed with a CNC robotically welded 1/4-inch steel A-frame base and heavy-duty CNC spun ribbed discs with rolled edges. An adjustable tension brake controls retraction speed and prevents free-wheeling during operation, transport, and storage. The CPC powder coat finish resists chipping and rust for long service life in demanding shop environments.
This reel is suited for industrial shop floors, automotive service bays, fabrication facilities, and any enclosed workspace where simultaneous fume extraction and pneumatic tool operation are needed. The dual-plumbing design on compatible V Series configurations allows vacuum extraction while simultaneously powering pneumatic tools such as grinders and sanders. The low-profile outlet riser and open drum slot deliver a non-crimping, flat hose wrap that protects hose integrity over repeated retraction cycles. Licensed mechanical contractors, industrial maintenance technicians, and shop equipment installers are the primary trades that deploy this equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style vacuum hose reel for industrial and commercial extraction systems using 1-1/2 inch NPT vacuum hose rated for 29 Hg service.
Installation is typically performed by industrial equipment mechanics or qualified shop technicians. Shut down and lock out all pneumatic and vacuum supply lines before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the reel to a stable surface using the mounting pattern integrated into the steel base, following the fastener specifications provided in the manufacturer installation instructions. Verify all hose connections are tight and the swivel rotates freely before restoring supply pressure.
