The COXREELS SR17-M425 is a spring-driven hose reel from the S Series lineup, designed for side-mount and cabinet-mount installations. It handles 1/2 inch ID hose up to 25 feet and is suited for air, water, oil, grease, oxy-acetylene, and T Grade gas welding hose applications. The unit weighs 38 pounds and measures 17.5 inches long, 8.5 inches wide, and 19.25 inches tall. A cartridge-style spring motor drives automatic retraction, while CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs with rolled edges deliver the structural rigidity and operator safety that demanding service environments require. Licensed HVAC techs, plumbers, mechanics, and service technicians are the primary installers.
The SR17-M425 is built for workplaces where space is limited and flexibility is essential. Common install locations include service unit cabinets, tool benches, toolboxes, vertical walls, beams, vehicle lift systems, machine tools, and service vehicles. The 360-degree hose direction allows the reel to feed in any direction the job demands. The two-bolt mounting pattern enables fast installation and removal, making it practical for multi-station or temporary setups as well as permanent fixed mounts.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch ID hose up to 25 feet in length across air, water, oil, grease, oxy-acetylene, and T Grade gas welding hose applications. Suitable for cabinet-mount and side-mount configurations on flat vertical surfaces.
Installation is typically performed by qualified mechanics, service technicians, or plumbers familiar with pressurized hose systems. Depressurize and bleed the supply line before connecting or disconnecting any hose or swivel fitting. Secure the reel using the two-bolt mounting pattern to a structurally adequate surface rated for the reel weight and operational load. Verify hose and fitting ratings are compatible with the intended fluid or gas before placing the reel into service.
