The COXREELS SM17-4-125 is a swivel-mount, hand-crank hose reel from the SM Series, designed for trade professionals who need directional flexibility and high working pressure in a compact steel frame. The reel accepts 1/2 inch ID hose up to 125 feet in length and is rated for working pressures up to 4,000 psi. A machined solid brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows fast hose installation without removing the reel from its mount. The forward-weighted, one-piece heavy-gauge steel frame and CNC robotically spun ribbed discs with rolled edges deliver durability and operator safety in demanding service environments.
The SM17-4-125 is suited for industrial, commercial, and contractor applications where a wall- or surface-mounted hose reel needs to follow the direction of work. The swivel base locks in eight distinct positions, making it a practical choice for service bays, maintenance shops, and job sites. A unique hose control bar prevents the hose from slipping off the side discs from any direction. The reel ships ready for use and accepts the optional SMK-202 wall mount bracket for fixed swiveling installations. Licensed technicians and contractors in plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical trades are the primary installers.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install swivel-mount hose reel for 1/2 inch ID hose applications rated up to 4,000 psi. Compatible with the optional SMK-202 wall mount bracket for swiveling mounted positions.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with hose reel mounting and fluid system safety practices. Depressurize and drain the connected fluid system completely before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the mounting surface to handle the combined weight of the reel and fully loaded hose. Follow applicable facility and local codes for fluid handling systems when selecting mounting hardware and hose fittings.
