The COXREELS SL19-L450 is a spring-driven hose reel in the S Series side-mount configuration, built for cabinet and enclosed-space installations where compact footprint and reliable retraction matter. The reel features a 1/2 inch ID hose inlet, accommodates up to 50 feet of hose, and uses a cartridge-style motor that is fully enclosed and lubricated for low-maintenance operation. A machined brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows hose installation and seal service without removing the reel from its mount. At 37 pounds, the unit ships as a single assembly and is intended for installation by service technicians, fleet mechanics, or shop maintenance personnel working with air, water, oil, grease, or compatible gas welding hose systems.
The SL19-L450 is designed for stationary or semi-permanent installations on vertical flat surfaces, inside service cabinets, on tool benches, tool boxes, vehicle lift systems, machine tools, and service vehicles. The 360-degree hose direction capability lets the operator feed hose in any direction the job requires. A simple two-bolt mounting pattern supports both permanent installation and quick detachment for multi-workstation use. Common trade applications include automotive service bays, industrial maintenance shops, and mobile service units where a low-profile, side-mount reel is required.
The S Series is designed for use with air, water, oil, grease, oxy-acetylene, and T Grade gas welding hose with a 1/2 inch ID and 3/4 inch OD in lengths up to 50 feet.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified service technician or mechanical tradesperson. Before mounting or servicing, depressurize the connected hose line completely and shut off the upstream supply valve. The two-bolt mounting pattern requires a solid, flat vertical surface capable of supporting the unit weight and dynamic hose load. Follow all applicable OSHA and facility safety requirements when installing reels on vehicles or elevated surfaces.
