The COXREELS SL17WTL-150 is a spring-driven welding gas hose reel built for side-mount installation in cabinets, enclosed spaces, and vertical flat surfaces. Part of the COXREELS S Series, it accepts 1/4-inch ID hose up to 50 feet in length and is engineered for T Grade gas welding hose service. The unit features an external 90-degree full-flow dual-ported brass swivel with Viton seals, allowing both inlet and outlet connections from the same side of the reel without removing it from its mount. A cartridge-style spring motor is enclosed and lubricated for field serviceability. The steel construction includes CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs with rolled edges for strength and hose protection. Weighing 26 pounds, this reel is suitable for fixed or temporary installation by welding and gas service professionals.
The SL17WTL-150 is designed for use with oxy-acetylene and T Grade gas welding hose in professional service environments. Typical install locations include service vehicles, tool benches, tool boxes, vertical walls and beams, vehicle lift systems, machine tools, and any flat vertical surface requiring compact hose management. The 360-degree hose direction allows operation from any angle the job demands. The two-bolt mounting pattern makes the reel straightforward to attach or detach for multiple workstation or mobile applications. Common trades installing this reel include welding contractors, industrial maintenance technicians, and vehicle service professionals.
Designed for use with 1/4-inch ID oxy-acetylene and T Grade gas welding hose up to 50 feet. Suited for service units, tool benches, vehicle lift systems, service vehicles, and similar flat vertical surface installations where a side-mount spring-driven reel is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding or gas service technician familiar with applicable codes governing gas hose handling and connections. Shut off all gas supply valves and verify zero pressure in the hose before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure using the two-bolt mounting pattern to a rigid flat vertical surface capable of supporting the weight of the reel and loaded hose. Inspect all swivel connections and hose fittings for leaks using approved leak-detection solution before returning the system to service.
